Daniel J. Marakowski, Jr. is a 24-year-old technology entrepreneur and advocate, based in Sewell, New Jersey.
Simply, I have a passion for technology that is unmatched by other young entrepreneurs and technical professionals. I value education especially in technology and business. As a recent graduate of Widener University located in Chester, PA, I have achieved a Bachelors of Science in Professional Studies with a minor in Information Systems, and plan to continue my education in technology.
In my professional life, I have been creating innovative businesses and solutions since 2002. Starting as a high school student, I started a small business called "DMarakowski Computer Services," with the intention to provide reliable and cost efficient computer repair and web development services. I serviced my teacher's personal workstations, developed websites, and built custom computers. I soon began developing a healthy client list and web design portfolio. It was then that "NewLink Technology Solutions" was born. Six years later, my company has grown exceptionally in size and service and continues to serve Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, and the surrounding areas.
Recently, I embarked on a new challenge and initiative. I am currently in the process of developing a non-profit foundation called "The NewLink Foundation." This foundation will help provide underprivileged high school students financial assistance and scholarships to attend accredited universities with a concentration in technology and business. As you can see, I value the education I have received over the years and I want to give back to the community.
I am inspired by technology, innovation, web design & development, and the integration of devices with each other. Some additional projects I working on include EduLEAF and Stori.Me. EduLEAF is a project, when completed, will target k-12 school districts. EduLEAF is a student, teacher, and staff information portal that will directly connect to any Microsoft Active Directory environment. Stori.Me is another project in development. Stori.Me is a webapp that will allow a user and their friends to build unique and creative stories about each other. Connected directly to the latest and most popular Social Media websites, Stori.Me is brilliant, fun, and interesting.

Personal Activities & Interests
I love to play sports and music. Playing sports like soccer and golf have always been a passion of mine. Additionally, I have been mastering the Alto Saxophone for nearly 15 years. As a board member and musician of the non-profit Fralinger String Band, I continue to volunteer my time and talents.
